About
Talented

& it's Founder:

Talented was built on the belief that great leadership takes courage, clarity, and connection. Founder Cynthia Medina-Carson learned this in the places where leadership matters most.

As a Peace Corps volunteer in Nicaragua, she worked with women rebuilding their lives after war, helping them launch businesses that became paths to independence. At the U.S. Treasury after 9/11, she navigated global security challenges where trust and strategy shaped outcomes on the world stage. Later, she founded Wager, a company focused on salary transparency and hard conversations in the workplace for both executives and individuals.

A graduate of Georgetown University and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Cynthia combines a global policy perspective with a deep understanding of human motivation and organizational dynamics. Her work bridges the personal and the strategic—helping leaders translate self-awareness into influence, and values into action.

Those experiences shaped both her perspective and Talented’s approach. Our coaching is direct, strategic, and rooted in real-world impact. We help leaders clear distractions, sharpen their presence, and focus on what drives growth—for themselves, their teams, and their companies.

At Talented, reflection always leads to action. Clients describe our work as energizing, practical, and deeply invested in their success—because it is.

Our
Approach

Not every leadership challenge requires a long-term program. We start by understanding where clarity, alignment, or confidence is breaking down, then recommend the engagement that will create the greatest leverage.
