Helping executives and leadership teams solve the leadership problems that slow growth.

Helps new managers take ownership, address performance issues earlier, and avoid costly early leadership mistakes.

Helps intact teams make clearer decisions, surface tension productively, and move faster without rework.

Helps revenue leaders operate with greater consistency and judgment under pressure, reducing burnout and dependency on individuals.

Our Process

How We Work

We start by understanding where clarity is breaking down—decision-making, alignment, confidence, or communication—and recommend the level of intervention that will create the greatest leverage.

  • Need alignment quickly: Thought Leadership

  • Need sustained capability building: Team Labs or Cohorts

  • Need targeted executive leverage: 1:1 Coaching

The work is designed to meet leaders where they are, and evolve as needs change.

What Changes?

  • Clearer, more confident leadership decisions

  • Stronger alignment across leadership teams

  • Improved performance, engagement, and retention

  • Leadership capacity that scales with the business

What Happens Next?

We start with a conversation to understand your goals, constraints, and leadership context—then determine the most effective place to begin.

About
Talented

& it's Founder:

Cynthia Medina-Carson silhouette

Cynthia Medina Carson is an executive leadership advisor and founder of Talented, a firm focused on building confident, revenue-driven leaders and high-performing teams. She works with senior executives, rising leaders, and first-time managers to help them navigate complex organizations, step into authority, and lead with clarity — especially in environments where expectations are high and the rules aren’t always explicit.

Cynthia’s work centers on one core belief: confidence is not a personality trait — it’s built through conversations, ownership, and decision-making. She partners with organizations to strengthen leadership pipelines, accelerate new managers, and help high-potential women define their value in rooms where they may be underestimated.

Before founding Talented, Cynthia worked in international policy and financial institutions, including roles at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the Department of Homeland Security, and JPMorgan. She also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Nicaragua — an experience that shaped her belief in resilience, adaptability, and service-driven leadership.

In addition to her advisory work, Cynthia is Treasurer and a National Board Member of Girls Inc., founder of the Cheeky Monkey Club (a networking community for women who hate traditional networking), and an avid mountaineer who has summited Kilimanjaro and Aconcagua. She holds degrees from Georgetown University and the Harvard Kennedy School.
